Our Vision
LHF is committed to following the example of Christ by building community and helping those in need locally and globally by proclaiming the hope of the Gospel to all that we encounter. We are committed to love God and others as we promote biblical truths in carrying out our mission. It is our desire to work with churches and other groups concerning issues of racial unity and racial justice.
Established May 2020
Living Hope Foundation’s vision was born out of 1 Peter 1:3–4 which says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you."
Peter praises God for His great mercy. Thanks to God’s mercy he has given each of us a new birth. Accordingly, there is “living hope” through the resurrection of Jesus and we each have an inheritance that can never deteriorate.
LHF is designed to provide the hope of Jesus Christ to each person that enters its doors. The "Jesus hope" is confidence that something good will happen. That God truly brings beauty from ashes. When we acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we are provided a living hope. We believe we can live every day with the anticipation of God’s faithfulness in the midst of our struggles. LHF envisions providing that same hope to people who feel hopeless due to their life circumstances. LHF desires that people will see the best in themselves and others. We are hopeful that LHF can make our community and the world a better place. LHF desires to help others see that with the help of Jesus, things will get better.
